Saean, an electric car maker, expects job creation for 10,000 people. Signed an agreement at Hanam Venture Center on the 31st to establish Saean EV mass-production sales corporation and create jobs at Mokpo city.

Saean and Naunuri Information & Communication announced on the 31st that they signed an agreement at Hanam Venture Center for the establishment of a Mokpo Saean EV Corporation to create jobs in Mokpo for the mass productions and sales of EVs. Chairman Sae An Lee, Chairman Sae An Lee, Jae Beom Jung, Nauri ICT Chairman, Dae-Hoon Kim Team Leader of Mokpo City, Park Kyung-rae Director of Industry-University Cooperation Group Jubidioenji CEO and others attended. Saean, an electric vehicle company, announced WID-U (Wide-U), an ultra-small reverse three-wheeled electric vehicle aimed at the global market, in June 2017. It is currently headquartered in US, with a Las Vegas Research Center, a Tokyo branch in Japan, and a Korea R & D Center. It also plans to enter the Middle East. Saean recently moved its headquarters to the less regulated United States for active research and development of electric vehicles. In addition, the US, which has a large market, will be more advantageous in technology transfer and becoming a global company. The Mokpo Plant, established under the agreement between Saean and Naunuri Information and Communications, will apply the electric vehicle technology that has been built up to the mass production of small electric trucks. Chairman Lee said, "The preparation for mass production is already completed and the production line can be laid within a month or two." "We plan to mass-produce 40W, 53.3 hp high-spec electric trucks for 70% of Korea's terrain."

"The first fund injection will start from 120 billion won to 150 billion won for the development and production lines, and will reach 200 billion won in total at the end. We will need at least 350 to 400 people for mass production of 20,000 units per year, and 10,000 people for mass production of 100,000 units per year"

The products developed and mass produced at the Mokpo plant include 'micro electric car', 'small electric truck', 'hand made electric sports car', 'military electric car', 'four-seater electric drone', 'electric fork crane and EV heavy equipment'.

Mokpo City and Park Jie-won said they will work together with the new plan to create jobs in the community and develop the economy.
