There is no extrapolation in a K/M curve.

Censoring can be an issue, and "thin" data can be issue (though that is very easy to see if the curve is properly presented).

And keep in mind that NWBO's median and 1/2/3 year OS as presented both in the paper and at SNO are K/M. So is the "top 100" median, and that is based on something like 20 patients living that long. And the 88 month number from the paper was 1 or 2 patients. And you do not know how many censors there were.

It is fair to argue that the Optune trial is not all that solid. And that the 80% compliance 5 year data was pure bullshit.

But you are trying to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

K/M curves do not kill, people do smile
