An applicable film for all to watch is Academy Award winner Paul Muni in The Story of Louis Pasteur.

Many of the same issues Dr. M is facing 150 yars later with slanderous comments on his character and skepticism towards the all-new science [BTW - Pasteur's background was in chemistry, too] ... microbes are big in the movie, which even has a provisional approval for the successful use of a rabies remedy on 19 Russians.

Worth the 90 minutes to watch.
