Nice article by a really smart gold guy who says he calculates the gold miners will "blow away" their estimates this quarter. Most of the time, this does not happen. The market sells off. Just depends where you are in the cycle. Early in a tech cycle, tech companies handily beating estimates tend to go up even higher, with perhaps a small selloff in some. Later, things change, and shorts just pound the earnings announcements. I think we are very very early in this gold bull. Right now the investment community thinks gold stocks, even the big ones, are just for losers and will never make money...."We shall see."
