I agree. I think Sheila Bair screwed the pooch royally on the WaMu fiasco but as the federal government is wont to do they decided to sweep her egregiously incompetent actions under the rug by using the corrupt Delaware bankruptcy courts.

You will notice that Bair has been relegated to a pariah type role in the current federal government. I heard she was thrown a bone and offered the presidency of a small college but was soon canned due to her incompetence.

Baird was an incompetent beaurocrat who should have never been placed in such a position of power and got played by Jamie Dimon and Hank(Lex Luthor) Paulson. She was probably placed as the head if the FDIC because Paulson and Dimon knew she was incompetent and could be manipulated.
