Allergy Therapeutics turns the corner, targets market launches

Allergy Therapeutics PLC (AIM:AGY, OTC:AGYTF) chief executive Manuel Llobet and chief financial officer Shaun Furlong talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s financial turnaround and ongoing progress across key clinical programs. Allergy Therapeutics reported a return to operating profit before R&D, exceptional and fundraising costs, supported by topline growth and strict cost control. Llobet highlighted that the company saw a 4% constant currency growth in euro-denominated sales—double that of the previous period—driven by improved supply chains and the strong performance of new and registered products. “The top line is good in terms of quantity and quality,” he said. Furlong added that these results, along with the recent financial restructuring, demonstrate a clear path to sustainable health. The company’s cash position rose to £21.7 million at the end of December from £12.9 million in June, aided by external funding and shareholder support. ACG Metals CFO says hold hedge strategy is already paying off

ACG Metals Ltd chief financial officer Patrick Henze talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s recently announced gold hedging strategy and its importance during ACG’s transition phase from precious to base metals. Henze explained that while ACG Metals is ultimately targeting copper production from its Gediktepe mine in Turkey by 2026, the mine currently generates strong cash flow from gold and silver. The company has moved to hedge 50% of its gold production at US$2,875 per ounce through January 2026, helping secure revenue in a volatile pricing environment. He noted: “We are currently producing gold and silver, which is a perfect transition for us to become a copper producer in ’26… we can benefit and protect a bit the cash flows by hedging the gold.” The hedge program, executed with Alpha, involves no cash outlay and allows ACG to retain upside exposure above US$3,065 per ounce on the hedged portion. Henze emphasised this strategy helps ACG provide more certainty to bondholders and equity investors by de-risking key financial metrics for 2025. Buru Energy secures strategic deal for LNG development

Buru Energy Ltd CEO Thomas Nador talked with Proactive about the company’s newly announced strategic development agreement with Clean Energy Fuels Australia Pty Ltd (CEFA) to co-develop the Rafael Gas Project. Nador explained that CEFA brings strong midstream and downstream capabilities, backed by I Squared Capital, which manages around $40 billion in assets. "They bring the right credentials, to look after the downstream and midstream elements of the project," he said. Buru, meanwhile, will focus on the upstream side of the Rafael development. The deal is described as a “watershed moment” for the company, as it provides a clear pathway toward developing a long-term gas and condensate business in northwest Western Australia—an area currently dependent on imported energy. Under the agreement, CEFA will fund, build, and operate a small-scale LNG facility on-site, with Buru paying a processing fee over the life of the project. This significantly reduces Buru’s capital exposure to only the upstream infrastructure—namely, two wells, one of which is already in place. A final investment decision is expected in late 2025 or early 2026, with first cash flows anticipated in the second half of 2027. According to Nador, the projected annual free cash flow from the Rafael development is expected to surpass the company’s current market capitalization. Biome Australia expands global footprint, targets strong growth in clinically proven Probiotics

The company has over 20 clinical trials validating its products in those areas including the world’s first asthma probiotic, which achieved a 64% reduction in asthma events. Biome’s practitioner-only model ensures that products are recommended by health professionals and sold behind pharmacy counters, contributing to approximately 30% of total sales. While Australia remains the core market, generating over 90% of revenue, Biome is actively expanding into New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, and Canada. Norfolk noted that early results in Canada are ahead of schedule, with further updates expected on the ASX. Instead of launching new products, Biome is focused on expanding use cases for its existing 18-product portfolio, ensuring efficient cash flow management and lower product risk.
