Of course nothing gets done if the Senate does not change so this is mute but if she's the Dem nominated then she will sell it and the Senate will go Dem. She also wants to get rid of the filibuster.


Now you are being realistic. She will get nothing accomplished unless the Dems also win the Senate.

And she should come out and state that she will repeal the tax cuts passed under Trump except for the lower brackets and the corporate tax as well.

She can increase the child deduction and the income tax credit for poor people. These are no brainers that everyone would go along with.

Instead of writing off all student loans she can propose freezing the interest and renegotiating the terms. Yes people will get a haircut but sorry there is no free lunch.

Instead of Medicare for all at least start with lowering the age when people can opt in. At least tie it when they can elect SS and that would be a good start. And reinstate the mandate so people who don't elect healthcare have to pay something and make that enforceable.

And insist that Medicare gets the same advantages as the VA regarding drugs etc and cut out that part of the Medicare plan. That was always a gift to the drug companies to begin with.

In short start small since she will have to win the rust belt states to win.
