Man you brought back memories !

2.70 rupees back in early/mid 80s used to get us a decent, big cup of top-grade coffee and my fees for the semester(bachelors degree in engineering was 178 rupees for (each semester was 24 credit hours - 6 courses and 2 labs, each with 3 hr. credit). For those who were under the economically backward category it was 28 rupees. Similarly 2 meals + 1 breakfast per day for 30 days used to cost us around 200 rupees in the hostel (approx. 7 rupees a day).

Those days of student life are beyond imagination.
