Their clients absolutely DID NOT expect this thing to tank right after they bought the secondary at $18, and some of them were clearly going to be pissed, and some of that group would have directed their ire at GS.

A deal that goes off at $18, and then the stock tanks as low as the $13's shortly thereafter? That is a busted deal. That impacts relationships.

Period.
