Will those being treated with Anavex 2-73 exhibit positive therapeutic results not only for the specific disease being treated, but with other positive health effects? Very, very likely.

What, then, will be the reaction of the medical community when statistical analysis shows those taking Anavex 2-73 have not only improved Alzheimer’s symptoms but, say, reduced cardiac or cancer disease frequencies?

With those findings, does Anavex 2-73 then become a cardiovascular health drug, or an anti-cancer, without specific clinical trials? That will be a medical regulation question, decided by who knows whom? Will physicians start prescribing Anavex 2-73 off-label, against diseases that haven’t had proper double-blind clinical trials, on the basis of profuse positive anecdotal data from those with Alzheimer’s, taking Anavex 2-73?

Will be interesting to see. Very likely.
