OK....Sorry for the misunderstanding...Going into this AdCom is activating my paranoid side..I'm more worried about our representatives..Giving FDA a shot at us...

I'm not skeptical about statins' abiliity to lower LDL-C and CVD event risk...I just believe Statins teach the wrong lesson about how to lower CVD events...Too much concentration on the lipid levels and too little concentration on what really drives CVD event risk. Which is not lipid levels...In fact in most cases what elevates lipids is SI and SI is also what increases CVD event risk...And what controls SI is the EPA/AA ratio...something that has been barely mentioned so far...The most important thing for prevention is a favorable EPA/AA level say one to two or higher...Thats what R-I did ...It raised the EPA/AA ratio to those levels..The rest...the improvements in MACE all flow from the increase in EPA/AA which effects every cell in the body (except RBCs)...

Thats's the story..Not the trig levels...Trig lowering historically has been very uneventful...
