Welp, the various notebook/laptop models I've been reviewing all have DVD reed/rite units in them. Butt then the 17.3" are mostly for gamers or media, and, although I know both come online now, apparently some gamers and video viewers still want to be able to use their legacy discs. I think one or more of these models even reads BluRay discs - which are too data dense to stream in 4K.
