Not so fast McMagyar, I saw from a 2010 interview that the Sigma 1 receptor may be the path that allows cancer to spread with speed all over the body, in some cases. Thats why the CEO at the time mentioned "turning the sigma 1 receptor off" for the treatment of cancer, just the opposite of treating CNS disease.
