When I started , a big trading day on the BIG BOARD (NYSE) was considered 250,000 shares---

I had a elderly lady client that brought her Certificates in to sell and re-invest into Dreyfus---when I saw the names of the companies on those Certs I asked her who had helped her over the years---she said no body---she selected them all herself---I asked her what her criteria was---she said "they had to be able to advertise in color ads in POST and LIFE magazine---duh!!!!!
