I don't know if anybody realizes, but this for the rookies out there, yes you. Did you know when you do a paint job during the day or end of the day, it frustrates the market makers, they hate it when someone paints the ask, they will whack it down as retaliation, furthermore, traders see that, they tend to stay away from the tickers that are not trading clean. If I were you I would refrain myself from doing just that (paint the ask), I realize it makes your account look much better showing a lot of nice green, but it hurts the stock. Either just slap the ask the full block or just sit on the bid

The reason this is absolutely true ,,, is that I was a trader and issued some ""punishment"" for said offense
