Ford is an interesting question.
First thought is, while GM and union seem to be far apart, Ford is close to a deal (a good thing)
American Auto companies are at such a disadvantage to Japanese car companies due to the union agreements. I once heard it described that GM is a pension company that sells cars on the side. (a bad thing)
In the auto world, the SUV and Crossovers are dominating the market. As I am currently looking for one myself, I see Lincoln is adding two new vehicles to the market and trying to up their service to compete with the other luxury brands. (good and bad as they are impressive vehicles, but I think priced too high and in desperate need to prove their service stands up)
Ford is still number 1 in pick up sales which is a must for their brand (a good thing).
They carry a ton of debt (obviously not good)
Their dividend is too high (good or bad)
The chart is in a very long term negative trend and hasn't shown life in forever (never good)

In summation, I've never been a fan of buying a stock for a nice dividend, but losing that much value in the first 3 months.
For me, it's too early to tell if this is a short term bottom or it can fall much further. Personally, I'm not a fan of buying falling knives.

Just my opinion, of course.
