Merritt also discussed the Technicolor acquisition. The Technicolor patent acquisition blends very well with the existing IDCC wireless patents in particular for 5G because of the video requirements/support.

The integration costs of the Technicolor research team are temporary. The Technicolor acquisition expands IDCC's market into the consumer electronics space. There are a few big players in that consumer electronics space such as Samsung (TV), Visio (TV), LG (TV).

Right now until the end of the year they are assessing how to price, position, and potentially acquire a license agreement.
