A quote I read somewhere along my DD I found quite assuming. It basically said the price of the "beat' was so price prohibitive it would made more economical sense to just buy a new battery, with that you at least get a new warranty with it.



Plus there are big strides being made in new battery technology with new materials. In the end it would be seen as a temporary fix as better batteries become dominant.
