I think you're right. Most people don't trade all that often. While the E*Trade commercials we've all seen suggest their clients spend evenings developing options strategies, I doubt there's as much of that going on. Most people want to do other stuff when they get home, and can't spend all that much time messing with their accounts while at work.

And I suspect that penny players won't get free trades. Probably it'll be restricted to exchange-listed securities.
