Medical Cannabis in Chicago if going for $60 for 1/8 Ounce. That is crazy EXPENSIVE compared to the rest of the markets.

I went to the Cannabis Dispensary on Saturday in Chicago and they seemed to be doing a really brisk business. There were no lines out the door - but there was a steady flow of people coming and going while I was there and people were spending between $100-$300 per transaction.

But there will be lines around the block as soon as Cannabis becomes recreational in Chicago.

I bought an 1/8 of Pineapple Express for $60 and I compared it to the usual stuff I get from my dealer.

My dealer stuff was BETTER than the Dispensary Cannabis and it is 1/2 the price.

Black Markets exists because of two things: 1) Price 2) Quality.

My point is: If the Black Market Weed is better quality and 1/2 the price of Dispensary Weed - then Chicago is going to have a "thriving" Black Market for Cannabis even after it becomes legal recreationaly.

In fact, once Recreational Cannabis is legal - it might even increase the Black Market Sales.

The only way to get rid of the Black Market is to BEAT THEM on both price and quality.
