Not really sure what you're asking but I'll put in my two cents worth in FWIW. My in-laws and my folks both use Ed Jones to govern their respective retirement portfolios. I myself sat down with them years ago to discuss trading options with them. I will tell you that from the onset they made it clear that a conservative approach is the key to their game i.e., OTC stocks practically non-existant and pinkies are out of the question. At least that was the impression I received here at my local branch.

On the flip-side- they have managed my relatives finances quite well IMO with their more conservative approach. {I'm younger so I would rather take more risk of course, but that's just me}. My exposure is limited as you can see, but, I still think that if you are drawn to the riskier aspect of investing I'm not sure Ed Jones is the route. But then again, what do I know? I work in medicine :) Hope it helps
