My Question to TD:
What is going to happen with my LAHO shares since the company was De- registered? Can they get re-instated and my shares will be active again or is this all finished?
TD Answer:
Thank you for reaching out to TD Ameritrade with this important question. If a stock you own has been involuntarily delisted by its stock exchange or Deregisters, you still own the stock, and you still have all the rights accorded to you as a shareholder. TD Ameritrade will undergo the process of removing symbols from delisted securities. This means that clients will see the CUSIP remain in the account instead of a symbol as the position. (Ex. Instead of seeing XYZ Comp, clients will see 1234XR567 as the position). If a client would like to remove this position from the account, a broker can place a non-marketable trade.

A CUSIP is a nine-character alphanumeric code that identifies a North American financial security for the purposes of facilitating clearing and settlement of trades. The CUSIP was adopted as an American National Standard under Accredited Standards X9.6.
