Hi.

I am stock holder of Amarin and like many investors I am following the events of the company very closely.

Over the weekend there was a lot of chatter on social media that the Evaporate Trial will be presented in November at the AHA conference and that the trial was halted after only 9 months. Many investors suggested that the fact that the Trial was halted after 9 months is proof that the trial was successful since a reading of the results after 9 months could only be done if there was positive efficacy. We understand that Amarin is not in control of the trial and cannot release the results on its own. However, can you please release a company statement to the public confirm that:



1) their will be a presentation at the AHA conference this November regarding the Evaporate Trial--as a late breaking presentation; and

2) the trial results are based on 9 months of the trial--and not the full 18 months as originally designed; and

3) the design of the Evaporate Trial allows for release of the Trial data after 9 months only in the event of positive efficacy results.
