Kaiser has been this way for years. The doctors are owned by the insurance company. That does not mean it will happen elsewhere. This should not be a surprise to anyone here. If it is a surprise, you have not been paying attention to the insurance market in the U.S. HMO's have come and gone in America. Kaiser is one that remains. It is not a new trend, it is an old trend.
