So my next step is to request that Kaisers "lipid specialist " review the NLA statement .
Then to ask my Cardiologist if the FDA approves Vascepa as per the NLA statement ...will he write me a script or not



Are you actually worried that Kaiser won't put V on T2 after R-IT indication is approved and V is SOC by every major medical society? It would be criminal if they did that. If your TGs go over 135 when you stop OV500, solution is simple - just stop taking it a month before you go to your doc for lipid tests after confirming your Part D plan covers V, you'll then be on label. Or drink like a fish a few days before the blood draw - I recommend raspberry or orange vodka and Sprite to get extra sugar from the mixer wink
