TTE already pointed out that was the title of R-IT on clinicaltrials.gov. I was initially confused about whether this meant AMRN was asking for primary prevention too, but have been convinced that's not the case - sort of. The primary endpoint says "Time from randomization to the first occurrence [of 5 pt MACE]" - that means prevention of the first event after a patient is enrolled and randomized, meaning they start taking V or placebo - it does not mean prevention of the 1st event in a given patient's life.
