First Responders Urge 9/11 Investigation — Sept. 11, 2019 Press Conference
On the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, 9/11 first responder Christopher Gioia, a commissioner of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire District in New York, will announce the launch of the “Justice for 9/11 Heroes” campaign at a news conference to be held at the National Press Club at 10 AM EDT.

In July, Commissioner Gioia and the four other commissioners of their fire district unanimously approved a resolution calling for a new investigation into the September 11th attacks. Two of the other commissioners are suffering chronic health effects from working at Ground Zero, and one of the department’s members, Thomas J. Hetzel, who was also a member of the FDNY, was killed in the line of duty that day.

The Franklin Square and Munson Fire District is now spearheading efforts throughout New York State and across the country to unite the fire service behind their call for Congress to reopen the 9/11 investigation. The congressional inquiry they are seeking would be conducted in parallel with the ongoing grand jury investigation initiated by U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Geoffrey Berman.

At the news conference, Gioia and Torregrossa will be joined by Bob and Helen McIlvaine, whose son Bobby was killed at the World Trade Center. For the past two years, Mr. McIlvaine has spearheaded a campaign, in his son’s name, to introduce and enact draft legislation that would establish a select committee in Congress to reinvestigate the World Trade Center’s destruction.

Also speaking at the news conference will be David Meiswinkle, who is president of the Lawyers’ Committee for 9/11 Inquiry, and architect Richard Gage, who is founder and CEO of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth). Mr. Meiswinkle will discuss his organization’s current litigation. Mr. Gage will discuss the recent release of a four-year computer modeling study of World Trade Center Building 7’s collapse by researchers at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The commissioners of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire District have brought forth a petition to panel a grand jury and reopen an investigation into the true causes of WTC 1,2, and 7 on September 11, 2001. You can read the amended complaint, which lists 57 exhibits of evidence proving the buildings were brought down, in addition to plane strikes, by explosives. WTC 7, which was not hit by anything at all, was brought down in a manner consisted with a controlled demolition, according to the petition.

Perhaps trying to stay relevant and feared after eighteen years in
hiding following the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, 68-year old
Egyptian cleric and al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahri has released a new
video message urging his followers to attack the US, Europe, Russia and
Israel.

Multiple jihad monitoring and analysis sites, including SITE
Intelligence Group, reported Wednesday the new video was released as
al-Qaeda's own "positive" commemoration of the 9/11 anniversary wherein
the terror leader touted and celebrated "severe blows dealt to
America".



Zawahri, who alongside ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi remains one of
the two most wanted terrorists in the world, and has a bounty of up to
$25 million offered by US authorities for information leading to his
capture.


The al-Qaeda chief, who took up the mantle of the group's leadership
after the 2011 death of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, further condemned
'backsliding' and 'backtracker' jihadists who had softened in their
stance on jihad.

He also addressed and decried supposed statements by some jihadists
voicing regret for all the civilians killed on 9/11, saying they should
keep up the fight against the "crusaders".

The video message entitled, "And They Shall Continue to Fight You," also
details how the terror group hopes to first use attacks on Israel as a
launchpad for further offensive operations against American, French,
British, and other western allies.
