Not a replacement for statin therapy but as an incremental and separate prescription treatment option for patients at risk for CV events
I think some here are misinterpreting this statment. The key word is "incremental" - Although an odd word choice, I think this means "in addition to" statin. They have ZERO data on effects of V in the absence of statins, so it would be idiotic of the company to even ask for this on the label. No way that would get approved. If I am wrong on this, though, I would be very happy
