My bet is Merck surprised NWBO with something and suggested this hire for the collaboration that is coming. I don’t believe they’d send them this guy if they were going to buy them. I feel Merck more than likely appreciated the job Dr. Duffy did on Keytruda and will do similarly in an expanded position with NWBO when they work together on either new trials expanding the indications for L and/or the new trials for Direct. I smell some sort of deal between NWBO and Merck that is going to be a game changer. My feeling is that Dr. Duffy would be seen by Merck as an excellent guardian of their investment in NWBO and in return be a big win for Dr. Duffy with any successes to come from DCVax. Just my take on it.
