UPDATE ON ARONIA BERRY BUSH

I planted three aronia bushes in 2014. One did not take, one produces some berries and the third turned into a big producer.

Since the berries are rather sour, the birds and animals avoid eating them, a big advantage.

This was my first harvest.

This picture is before I removed some stems, pick out dried berries, and then rinsed twice before juicing.

JUICED A PORTION OF ARONIA HARVEST FOR FREEZING.

ARONIA BERRY JUICE READY FOR FREEZING

I juiced a cup of berries with carrots and then added some honey and a touch of cinnamon. It tasted fine to me. [I dislike sweet drinks, so more honey might be needed according to your sweetness taste.]

I will be adding more aronia berry plants.
