That's funny. The clerk at NVSOS said that many companies are late paying their fees, and that it's a common occurrence.

OK. I've got some info on a stock I currently own. They did a merger in Jan. of 2018. They have not filed with the SEC since APR. 2014. Immediately after completing the merger, they were designated as "Caveat Emptor". The CEO called OTC Markets to complain about the "Skull & Crossbones". Not only was the status changed to a "Stop Sign", but all new company info was updated. I know all this because I was in contact with the CEO of that company. I will PM the company name and symbol to those that wish to verify this info.

So, if GIFX wanted to do the same, they could. The world renowned Aul should know all this.

And a bit of news on the differences between "Delinquency" and "Default". It appears "Default is much more serious than "Delinquency"

Delinquency vs. Default: An Overview

Delinquency and default are both loan terms representing different degrees of the same problem: missing payments. A loan becomes delinquent when you make payments late (even by one day) or miss a regular installment payment or payments. A loan goes into default—which is the eventual consequence of extended payment delinquency—when the borrower fails to keep up with ongoing loan obligations or doesn't repay the loan according to the terms laid out in the promissory note agreement (such as making insufficient payments). Loan default is much more serious, changing the nature of your borrowing relationship with the lender, and with other potential lenders as well.

In other words, GIFX is beyond delinquent and are in default. So, you are correct. GIFX is beyond delinquent and are in default (which by definition, is way more serious).
