Actually it's a safer trade with this bull spread in OCT....imo what happened is they sold 14000 $12 PUTS for .35 and bought the 10puts for .15 for protection against bad news...for a net of .20 x 14000 contracts or $280,000 if the price closes over $12 on Oct 18th they pocket all the cash....Oct was a smart date because there will be no binary event till nov adcom..so the pps will likley trade in the current range till then...
