During the normal trading day a stock bid price is 2-3 cents more that the ask price regardless of the price movement of the stock.. I was looking a t stock to get into and was hoping to get a better share price it dropped 3 cents but the ask was still at the same price. I have never seen this market is .03 the bid is at .03 and the ask is at .06 through out the day no matter what the market price was the ask stayed the same.
