Lie #3: Microsoft Partnership or how Verb is coming to Office

This story is about the Microsoft Partnership but as you will be able to tell yourselves it can be applied to all partnerships Verb / nFusz announced at any point.

Remember when Rory said they had a partnership with Microsoft that will make all the products from Verb available to corporate Microsoft clients, and then a few months later when this didn't materialize he said Verb tech would be included in the next version of Office? That was such a #BigLie even for a professional like Rory.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

How did Microsoft come into the picture? Well came from contact from Dennis (the guy who seems to take way to many antidepressants and looks like a male version of a Stepford wife always smiling), so enter J (not Jim Dubois we will talk about that later, but another J) from Microsoft into the picture.

A lot of you guys keep asking if Rory is a master scammer or just dumb, well he believes he can make it, is like those one-hit-wonder singers that they just want to have a second hit to prove the first one wasn't just a random event. And sometimes he believes anything he is told.

Well J from Microsoft came and told Verb their technology WAS AMAZING, like nothing he had ever seen. Of course he did! he was paid by Microsoft to bring new clients and technologies to the Azure platform, Microsoft doesn't care if they are trash technologies because they are getting money from them for services and second they say things like: Azure now has 1 million corporate users.

And in case any of these companies struck gold then Microsoft could say they did it thanks to Azure.

So J did his work, he told Rory Microsoft was at his feet, waiting for that sweet nFusz interactive video to become the next big thing. And Rory believed him.

They were in the middle of the development of a new version of the software and polishing the version they had in production. And EVERYBODY in the dev team told Rory it was a bad idea to move to Azure.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

But J had told Rory if he moved to Azure then Microsoft was behind him and all doors would open. So Rory being who he is, chasing that press release, pressed pause on actual product development and just order to move everything to Azure.

At that time they had their team in Costa Rica, second third world outsource they did after the imaginary India team from Rocky that was one guy with a funny accent.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

Almost 2 months went into moving to Azure completely, it was a new product at that time so there was not a lot of documentation, and things were still being decided even by Microsoft on how it would work

But they made it to Azure, and Rory was able to say they had a partnership with Microsoft. Their server cost went from around $700 in AWS to around $4000 in Azure, but hey they were partners.

J made sure they signed the normal developer program agreement (any company can get it, is a form online) and paid their dues to Microsoft.

He probably collected his commission and move on with his life.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

A month into Azure the first problems started happening, weird bugs and outages on the platform. So the Dev team asked for support from Microsoft; so J told Rory to purchase a support plan on Azure and send a ticket.

Sound like the kind of treatment a simple dev would get, and not the partner treatment Rory was expecting or promised to investors.

Almost $50,000 has been paid to Azure, even now after months of Rory deciding to go back to AWS because Microsoft never provided any support or help or anything they keep paying for Azure stuff, they just can't get out of it.

But who cares is just investors' money.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

They never had a partnership, that why they didn't get any special treatment and why nothing happened with Microsoft. He just paid to get into the dev program like anybody else can do, and then sacrificed finishing a product to get a stupid press release and pump the stock price.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

Jim Dubois

A lot has been said about Mr. Dubois being so impressed with Verb that he joined the board as an advisor. First, let's say a lot of these people join boards, they don't need to do anything and if one becomes great then they make money. As you can see in Mr. Dubois's records he belongs to a lot of boards.

But most importantly if you go here:

https://www.myverb.com/staff-jim-dubois/

You will see an interesting message from Mr. Dubois:

"The data collection and analytics capabilities of the Verb interactive video platform are very impressive,” stated Mr. DuBois"

This from what I know and in my opinion.

Weird he joined the board a bit ago, that has been on Verb / nFusz site for a while, so what data collection?

This is problematic on various fronts, first by law they need to inform the user of any specific data collection they are doing from cookies or anything else, most sites do it now. Their player doesn't display any of this, and if you check the data being send to their server, it doesn't have any valuable data. So what data collection is Mr. Dubois talking about?

So only three options here:

Rory lied to Mr. Dubois and show him some ghost data collection that has never existed.
Rory is collecting user data and not informing them, making it all kind of illegal.
Or Mr. Dubois gave a fake quote and lie about what he has seen.

Don't need to tell you all 3 have major illegality tie to them.

And if Mr. Dubois was so impressed with Verb, why didn't Rory call him when they were having issues with Azure, and just decided to go back to AWS.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

The Outlook integration

I don't even think I need to explain this one, I mean nothing happened here EVER.

Rory had this idea to create an add-on for Outlook to pull interactive video into it, THIS WAS NEVER DISCUSSED WITH ANYBODY ON MICROSOFT as at that time they already going back to AWS.

Rory never hired ANYBODY with a background on add-on development, you can ask them directly.

This from what I know and in my opinion.

This was just an idea that popped into his head and he turned into a press release. Microsoft never published anything about it and even abandoned development on their own interactive video product.

Rory used to this a lot, he heard any buzzword that gave him an idea, then he would go into the radio show he used to do and turn it into new feature they were working on.

VERB IS NOT BEING INTEGRATED TO MICROSOFT OFFICE AT ALL, IS NOT EVEN MENTION ANYMORE OR IN THEIR ROAD MAP.

This from what I know and in my opinion.
