Just for kicks, I wanted to throw this out.
The present value of the right to receive $3.75 PPS, in 10 years, discounted at 10% per year, is about $1.45 PPS.
If you believe that $3.75 is a reasonable estimate of economic damages, at a minimum, you might want to run some what ifs.
10% is a terribly high discount rate and I do not think it will take 10 years.
I just wanted to get some rough idea of what this computation would look like.

PS: Sent the email, but, again, lots bounced back at me. Email follows:

"On page 36 of the ARRIS Form 10-K filed for December 31, 2017, Arris disclosed customer requests for indemnification in the above case. You may choose to examine the risks associated with the Arris/CommScope market capitalization decline, credit rating downgrade, and poor balance sheet. CommScope may not be able to indemnify, in the event of the loss in the above case. Your CFO could advise you on this matter."
