I believe your data points are wrong.
You cite the example of a bank coming aboard amd provide TCG compliant banking services. I am quite sure that we'll see developments going in this direction during the course of 2007
However, for the sake of a quick and seamless consumer uptake it is not in Wave's interest to have the consumer shell out $50 or so to leverage the TPM and trusted banking services. This would further delay the revenue stream at best, inhibit consumer adoption gravely, at worst. Wave's intention is to eventually capture all consumers - and the the consumer's platform is loaded with the ESC. This will have to suffice for the consumer centric connection to trusted services.
Revenue from such models is derived from the service providers (i.e. banks) that will pay a per seat token per customer that connects to their authentication severs, i.e. 50 cents ($0.50 per seat per month) THIS IS AN EXAMPLE!
The $50.00 "ETS Enterprise" upgrades are, generally, for enterprises.
