#BonusLie: Verb is a big happy company
I will get to the Microsoft lie tomorrow but is time for a bonus round, remember when Rory made that video a little bit ago just parading SC people in front of the camera saying how much they love working for Verb? well, there is a reason for that.
BECAUSE THEY HATE THE SOUND CONCEPTS TEAM AND SC TEAM HATES THEM BACK.
Again this is all from what I know and in my opinion.
SoundConcepts was a nice little family wholesome company making big improvements and growing, but then they met Rory and they committed the ultimate sin: GREED. They sold their company to get some money in their pockets, they sold their employees with it.
Do you know what Rory and favorite pet number #2 (Denise) love doing? making fun and belittling Brycen and his team. They go up to Utah and smile and pretend everything is ok, but as soon as they are back in LA they cannot criticize him and his team enough, on how they are a bunch of hillbillies.
In my opinion, is just envy because while Brycen has deliver corporate sales and clients, Denise brought well close to nothing.
So much for the happy team.
Again this is all from what I know and in my opinion.
But this is not the first time, or the last I am guessing. Remember when Rory was all proud on video about having a new design team that worked for Google and Apple , what happened to them?
Well you see CTO Chad appointed a project manager to handle the team communication. And sometimes the design team frustrated bad mouthed Chad to the project manager, just trying to handle all the pressure they were filling.
Well Chad never disclosed a little secret to anybody on the team: the project manager is his wife. So bye bye Deby and friends, nice to see you.
Not that Deby leaving had any impact in the company, she was charging Verb for "focus groups" on the UX that she never conducted, she was just planning to pocket the money. Seems to be the only way to make any money from Verb.
Similar thing happened when 2 women from the social media back in the nFusz day left because they felt unconfortable with the interaction they had with other employees of the company. Everything is lies in this company.
Again this is all from what I know and in my opinion.
But now they are a happy team, they removed the bad apples and everything is ok. Yeah sure!
I mean Denise and Rory still bad mouth Brycen's team all the time, and the dev team is not far behind.
Half the private communications between the PCL people (that is the company from Colombia they are outsourcing to) are about how incompetent the dev team from Utah is, and how they cannot deliver on anything. Is a common topic in their Bogota office.
Again this is all from what I know and in my opinion.
And I know what you're thinking: non of this personal stuff is relevant. But a company divided will never produce a product worth buying.
Because this is the work environment Rory has built with his lies and lack of leadership.
