I didn't excuse it. I think people have every right to be upset. I don't know if he takes responsibility for statements that in retrospect appear to be misleading or not, regardless of his intention at the time. But should he? I think so. But whether he is responsible for other people's losses is probably not a simple matter, especially if he was making forward looking statements. I think people should be responsible for their own investment decisions, in general, especially with stocks that generally are known to be highly risky.
