The Agassiz first construction project of a 50,000 sq. ft. building on the company owned 32-acres of industrial land in the Fraser Valley is on schedule and expected to reach completion by January 2019. Canandia plans to construct and complete three more buildings, each one 50,000 sq. ft. in size by 2020. Each one of the four buildings Canandia is building by 2020 is expected to produce 10,000 lbs. of premium quality Cannabis product per year – currently wholesale valued at $20 million. What makes this plan currently unique in Canada is that the company land is adjacent to 69KV Transmission lines, and that the local Power provider, BC Hydro, has confirmed the availability of 39 Mega Watts of power at the property line. The fact Canandia can execute its staged growth plan under one license, and at one location, presents a tremendous advantage and gives the company a very unique feature in the industry – the ability to expedite the expansion of licensed infrastructure.
