It’s more the fact that the OS keeps increasing so there’s more shares to trade. The amount of money moving is probably roughly the same but shares are worth far less so there’s more volume with every passing day.

I would say the volume is actually increasing unnaturally, if anything, due to the added shares flooding the market and disrupting normal trading from taking place.
