I see that MRC has fired off a 25 post tweetstorm, leading off with my post.
His schtick is that he thinks because he correctly predicted an ADCOM, that gives him credibility to spew nonsense to fool people into thinking that his posts are credible. Narrator: they aren't.
Let's not forget hundreds of IHUB posts that he made trying to justify why Reduce-it will fail.
It doesn't take a genius to have predicted that an ADCOM would occur. If you take a random person off the street and ask them if an ADCOM would be held, they have a 50% of being correct.
Having said that, got go give credit where credit is due. What MRC / PY did correctly, is realize that because the label is so large and this is the first trial of its kind, if he (they) put enough pressure on the FDA, the FDA will cave, being good bureaucrats that they are. In other words, he (they) had the wherewithal to exploit the system. Congratulations!
However, let's not confute him/them knowing FDA's weakness with knowing anything medically or legally.
Nearly everything that he writes is just nonsense. Want proof?
Medically / scientifically, he was debunked on September 24. Literally 100% of his medically related posts thus turned out to be false.
Legally, he was debunked the last few days by Ortakoy.
What he is doing is equivalent to a random kid taking 100 half court shots and finally getting lucky with one... and all of a sudden he begins lecturing people on shooting hoops.
