There is some false optimism going on here. I’m a long but there will be an adcom with 100% certainty and there won’t be a conditional approval before the adcom. It’s clear the adcom date hasn’t been formally announced yet because they haven’t pinned down a final date. They only stated the earliest date it could occur. I’m sure they’re still coordinating everyone’s schedules to solidify a date. With a drug like this that will have massive upside to the lives of millions, I understand the need for an adcom.

What I don’t understand:

1) Why in the f- did they take so long to figure this out? Just announce a frickin adcom 3 months ago for crying out loud. Someone give me woodcock’s email so I can ask her.

2) Why in the h- do they wait to announce the scope of the adcom only 48 hours before? That is some grade A hors- sh-. It’s unfair to any company that has to go through this and to its investors. What the h- is wrong with the FDA’s protocols?
