There is no such thing as a list of hemp seeds approved by the 2018 Farm Bill. You totally just made that up. Furthermore, CWBHF has several varieties, not just one.

Dowling has been trying to argue against the direct language of the 2018 Farm Bill by demanding that everyone in the CBD industry only use fiber/seed hemp for making high CBD extracts. This is a transparent, nonsensical, and desperate request.

Instead of switching to the right kind of hemp(CBD rich), cvsi would rather the entire U.S. move back to the 2014 Farm Bill world. Seriously. Realize that Dowling and cvsi are not on the same side as cannabis legalization advocates at this point.

Now, they desperately seek a more restricted cultivation environment because they can't compete otherwise. I was really over my bone-to-pick with Dowling until I saw he doubled down on his fight against high CBD hemp. He's dying for the Feds to limit the rest of the country's ability to develop and grow their own hemp strains:

Out of the three opinions expressed in that article, only cvsi and their shareholders could possibly agree with cvsi's opinion.

It's this simple really, if you wouldn't use that kind of hemp to make high CBD edibles in your kitchen, then you shouldn't use it to make high CBD extracts.

There is not one person in the U.S. that would ever use cvsi's kind of hemp(paste or otherwise) to make CBD edibles in their kitchen.
