Over 5 years straight, with promised new batteries dozens of times.

It's not the battery, it is a defective watch. It has never run right, and it's built of defective parts with a defective watch maker.

Time to toss this one in the trash and buy a new one.

Why throw the watch away when all it needs is a new battery ?
