There is a learning curve for some of the newbies to understand mineral exploration.

No driller picks the collar,that's the geologist's job with the ultimate approval coming from the management.

And no one management, driller, geologist alike attempts to drill in the wrong place, it is simply that its one in a thousand wildcat drill holes that actually hit a rich mineral target.

So 'drilling in the wrong place' in these circumstances is a logical non sequitor.
