For me a "fair" buyout price would be in the $50 to $100 range. To go it alone or with a partner over time, and become the "intel" of photonic chips, PRICELESS!



Acacia sold for $2.6 Billion. If LWLG's polymer photonics is the KEY to the future of PICs why not $50 to $100? The largest of the Tier 1s are definitely capable of vetting LWLG's tech. If they deem it integral to their future they will have to have it. I'm not sure Acacia was integral to Cisco's future going forward. Probably a nice piece but Cisco's future does not ride on the Acacia acquisition.
