You're conveniently overlooking something when you say that Pebble is going to be a smaller mine and therefore is not going to produce much of anything.

Northern Dynasty has said in multiple press releases that the smaller mine is to show that the Pebble mine is NOT TOXIC, as you put it, and that it will not harm the salmon, and that after showing this, Norther Dynasty will go through the permitting process again in order to re-instate their plan for their original larger mine.

And, by the way, they WILL get their larger mine plan approved. Period.
