Your argument is circular.

The question based on your argument is what caused the restoration of bacterial balance?

If you read the paper that I linked which is where the chart on slide 8 came from, you would see that as the AD disease progresses the bacterial balance continues to shift. That is a correlation and does not prove causation. The finding that high blood concentrations of 2-73 are correlated with stability in AD is additional evidence that the correlation MAY HAVE a causal relationship.

The factors that influence gut biome are just beginning to be understood. Given the amazing number of feedback systems in hte body, it is not at all surprising to me that something that affects neurons could affect the gut and its biome. After all the gut is second only to the brain in the number of neurons in the body.
