ARYC...I guess you are not on Medicare or it would have been billed and you would have a statement showing how much was covered and how much you have to pay...if anything. When in the biz, I remember what a blessing electronic Medicare billing was since I helped my clients with their claims. One from my client and one for the doctor who's 'insurance girl' would send to Medicare and what wasn't paid, the doctor's office billed the patient. For most, I dropped off the forms at the doctor's office if they were not going to see him again soon.
It might not be set up yet. If you have and HMO, you might have a c0-pay on the tests and the office visit. They would let you know. I just had blood work done this week. $15.00 co-pay for office visit and '0' for blood work....Medicare and my Medigap plan paid that one. It has to be 'medically necessary'...not just to check for various allergies with never a problem or symptom.
