Not sure how RDS plans to dominate intermediation.

I don’t they intend to dominate. Shell’s newfound emphasis on power is not so much a business model, as a response to the societal pushback against fossil fuels that is much stronger in Europe (where Shell is domiciled) than anywhere else, as far as I can tell.
